Section !. 11here in any strec-t or section of
street there is now constructed a water main , or where
hereafter in any street or section of street there may
be constructed am* viator main for the purpose of carry-
ing ing water, the owner or owners of property abutting on ,
adjacent to, and aloe- the line of any, or within two
hundred feet (2001 ) of any such viater main so constructed
or to be constructed shall., vrithin thirty (30) days after ff

beinE; so notified by the 3uilding Inspector of the City
of Dania, Florida, construct a septic tank according; to
T specifications defined by ordinances of the City of Dania,
and connect the main in the proper manner in order to
proldde for a sanitary water closet .

Section 2. Any person violatinrr tho provi-
sions of this Ordinance shall , upon conviction. , be pun-
ished by a fine not exceedinm ONE TTMTDR?D DOLL '3S,
( Ip100.00) , or by imprisonment of a period not exceeding
thirty (30) days , or by both sucii fine or imprisonment
in the discretion of the 1,1Ryor. Each viol2.tion hereof
j shall be deemed to be a distinct and separate offense .
Section 3 . That all Ordinances or Resolu-
tions or parts of Ordinances or Resolutions in conflict

herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect
and be in force immediately upon its passage and adoption .

ORDINANCE NO. 204
1
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ARTICLE II PARAGRAPH 2 . 1 OF
ORDINANCE NO . 541 , PASSED AND ADOPTED ON
AUGUST 4, 1969 , AND KNOWN AS "GENERAL
EMPLOYEES PENSION ORDINANCE" TO PROVIDE THAT
THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE PENSION COMMITTEE SHALL
CONSIST OF TWO MEMBERS WHO ARE EMPLOYEES OF
THE CITY, TWO MEMBERS WHO ARE RESIDENTS OF BUT
NOT EMPLOYED BY THE CITY AND ONE MEMBER WHO
IS AN ELECTED OFFICIAL OF THE CITY; AND
PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES AND ALL RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF
RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED
TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE .

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
FLORIDA:
Section 1 . That Paragraph 2 . 1 of Article II of Ordinance No .
541 passed and adopted on third and final reading on August 4, 1969 , be
and the same is amended to read as follows :

The Mayor shall recommend that the City

, Commission shall appoint a Pension Committee
of five persons for the purpose of administering
this plan. Two (2) members of the committee
! shall be employees of the city, two (2) members
thereof shall be residents of the City who are
not employees of the City and one (1) member
thereof shall be an elected official of the City.
Such members will be the trustees . The members
of the committee shall hold office at the pleasure
of the City Commission.
Section 2. That except as herein amended all other provisions

of said Ordinance No . 541 shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances and all
j resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same
are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict .

Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in force and take
effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED and ADOPTED on First Reading on the 9th day of
January , 1979 .
PASSED and ADOPTED on Second and Final Reading on the 23rd day
of January 1979 .
