Home My WebLink AboutO-1989-010 { ORDINANCE N0. 10-89 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 22-21 OF ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 22 OF THE CODE OF i ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, TO PROVIDE FOR CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF SIDEWALKS ; AND PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES AND ALL RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA: Section 1 . That Section 22-21 of Article II of Chapter 22 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Dania , Florida, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows : "Sec. 22-21. Property owners to construct, maintain sidewalks. j It shall be the duty of each owner of abutting property to construct or reconstruct, and to maintain and keep in repair uniform and substantial sidewalks in front of or abutting upon each parcel of his property within the city limits . Section 2 . That except as herein amended , all other provisions of said Section 22-21, Article II , Chapter 22 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Dania, Florida, shall remain in full force and effect . Section 3 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances and all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict . j Section 4 . That this ordinance shall be in force and take effect jimmediately upon its final passage and adoption .
