ORDINANCE NO. 59-88
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA,
CHAPTER 17 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
AMENDING ARTICLE IV, ENTITLED "NOISE", OF
CITY OF DANIA TO INCREASE THE PENALTIES FOR
VIOLATIONS THEREOF; AND PROVIDING THAT ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES AND ALL RESO-
LUTIONS OR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH I
CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
I BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
IFLORIDA:
Section 1. That Section 17-83 entitled "penalties" of
Article IV, entitled "noise" of Chapter 17 of the Code of Ordi-
nances of the City of Dania, Florida, be and the same is hereby

amended to read as follows :
"Sec. 17-83 Penalties .

Any person or entity who violates any provision of
this article shall be Punished by a fine of not more than
Two Hundred Fifty Dollars
($250. 00) or by imprisonment for
a period not exceeding thirty (30) days or both such fine
and imprisonment . Each day any violation shall continue '
shall constitute a separate offense. "
Section 2. That except as herein amended, all other provi-
sions of Article IV, Chapter 17, of the Code of Ordinances of

the City of Dania, Florida, shall remain in full force and effect.

i Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances and
all a resolutions or
! parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be
f and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict .
Section 4 . That this ordinance shall be in force and take
effect immediately upon its final passage and adoption.

day of October
1988.
