AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, 1
REQUIRING THAT THE OWNER OR HIS DESIGNATED
! EMPLOYEE BE PRESENT AT ALL TIMES DURING
WHICH A BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT IS OPEN FOR
BUSINESS WITHIN THE CITY; PROVIDING FOR
PENALTIES ; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; AND
PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES AND ALL RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF
RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED
TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVID-
ING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
11 FLORIDA:
Section 1 . It shall be unlawful to keep any establishment

open for business within the corporate limits of the City of
Dania, Florida, unless there is an owner or adult employee
f
i i
designated in writing by such owner to be authorized to receive
1 all official notices , citations , summonses and communications
i
i directed to such establishment by the City of Dania, Florida i , t
present at all times during which the establishment is open for
business.
Section 2 . Any violator of the provisions of this ordinance
i
shall be punished by a fine of not more than Two Hundred Fifty
jDollars ($250. 00) or by imprisonment for a period not exceeding
{ thirtydays , p y
(30) or both such fine and imprisonment. Each da
any violation shall continue shall constitute a separate offense.
+ Section 3 . The provisions of this ordinance shall be in-
cluded in and incorporated in the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Dania, Florida, as an addition or amendment thereto, and shall
be appropriately renumbered, if necessary, to conform to the
uniform system of the Code.

Section 4 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances and
all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be
i
and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

Section 5 . That this ordinance shall be in force and take
effect immediately upon its final passage and adoption.
