Home My WebLink AboutO-1987-022 I ORDINANCE NO. 22-87 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE ANNUAL SEWER FUND BUDGET AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1987, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1988, FOR THE MAINTENANCE AND CARRYING ON OF THE SEWER DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA; AND PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES AND ALL RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Dania, Florida, has prepared and submitted to the City Commission an annual budget covering the operation of the City Sewer Department and has set forth therein an estimate of the revenues and expenditures of the City Sewer Fund for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1987, and ending September 30 , 1988, with sufficient copies of such budget being on file in the office of the City Clerk-Auditor so that any interested party may obtain copies on request; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has presented to the City Commission detailed information supporting such estimate, affording the City Commission a comprehensive understanding of the City Sewer Fund budget for the ensuing period, including expenditures for corresponding items during the last fiscal year and increase or decrease of demands for the ensuing year as compared with corresponding appropriations for the last fiscal year; and WHEREAS, the City Commission has met and carefully considered such annual budget for the ensuing year and has determined and fixed the amount necessary to carry on the Sewer Department of the City for the fiscal year 1987-88 and has prepared a budget setting forth the amounts necessary for the operation of said department of the City and has appropriated such amounts as set forth in said Sewer Fund budget after having considered the applicable funds on hand and estimated departmental revenues; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA: Ordinance No. 22-87 j . J Section 1 . That the Sewer Fund budget for the City of Dania for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1987, and ending September 30, 1988, be and the same is hereby officially and finally adopted . A copy of such budget is attached hereto and made a part hereof as "Exhibit A" , and the appropriations set out therein are made for the maintenance and carrying on of the Sewer Department of the City of Dania, and for the purpose of paying debt service requirements, if any, of said City Sewer Department i for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1987, and ending September 30, 1988. Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances and all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in force and take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption. ilk PASSED and ADOPTED on First Reading on the 8th day of September, 1987.
