ORDINANCE NO. 11
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 9 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
ENTITLED "CEMETERIES" , BY AMENDING SECTION
9-2 (a) AND (b) THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR IN-
CREASES IN THE CHARGE FOR CEMETERY PLOTS
AND OPENING AND CLOSING COST ; AND PROVIDING
THAT ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES
AND ALL RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE
EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT ; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
' BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1 . That Section 9-2 (a) and (b) of Chapter 9
of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Dania, Florida , be and

the same is hereby amended to read as follows :
"Sec . 9-2 . Charges .
The following charges pertaining to Memorial
Park and Westside Cemeteries shall be col-
lected by the City Manager:
(a) The charge for cemetery plots at
Memorial Park Cemetery and Westside
Cemetery shall be Three Hundred f
Twenty Five Dollars ($325 . 00) per I
plot for a resident and Three Hundred
Seventy Five Dollars ($375. 00) per
plot for a non-resident. The total
charge for a plot and the opening
and closing for children up to
the age of one (1) year in the sec-
tion of Westside Cemetery known as
the Baby Land Section shall be Seventy
Five Dollars ($75 . 00) .
(b) The opening and closing cost shall be
One Hundred Twenty Five Dollars ($125 . 00)
except there shall be a charge for a
Saturday funeral of Two Hundred Dollars
($200. 00) up to 12: 00 Noon. An addi-
tional charge of Fifty Dollars ($50. 00)
is hereby imposed for funerals conducted
after 4 : 00 P .M. on Monday through Friday.

i Section 2. That except as herein amended, all other pro- f{
visions of Chapter 9 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Dania ,

Florida , shall remain in full force and effect .
Section 3 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
and all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith

Section 4 . That this ordinance shall be in force and t
take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption. }
