ORDINANCE NO. 36- 91 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 13-69(i) (2) , ARTICLE IV OF CHAPTER 13, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, CHANGING PENALTY CHARGE FOR FAILURE TO DISPOSE OF TRASH WITHIN THREE ( 3) DAY LIMITATION FROM ONE HUNDRED PERCENT ( 100%) TO FIFTY PERCENT (50%) OF CHARGE; AND PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES AND ALL RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA: Section 1. That Section 13-69(i) (2) , Article IV Chapter 19 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Dania, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: " (2) Trash must be disposed of within three (3) working days after being discarded. If not disposed of within the stated time, city will remove trash and assess a j penalty charge equal to fifty percent (50%) of the usual amount of the special pickup. This charge will be added to the utility bill. " Section 2. Except as herein amended, all other provisions of said Section 13-69 of the Code Of Ordinances of the City of Dania, Florida, shall remain in full force and effect. Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances and all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section q. That this ordinance shall be in force and take effect immediately upon its final passage and adoption.
