HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-1991-097 RESOLUTION NO. 97-91 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, ENDORSING THE GRANT APPLICATION OF FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF STATE, DIVISION OF HISTORICAL RESOURCES, FOR HISTORIC PLANNING IN DANIA; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Dania, the oldest city in Broward County, has rich cultural and architectural historic character; and WHEREAS, the City of Dania recognizes that historic preservation is a valuable tool in the revitalization of commercial and residential areas of the city. 1' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA: Section 1 .
