A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING AND SETTING CHARGES FOR THE YEAR 1992 FOR COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF SOLID WASTE WITHIN THE RESIDENTIAL AREAS OF THAT PORTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, KNOWN AND REFERRED TO AS THE GRIFFIN ROAD AREA; PROVIDING FOR METHOD PROVIDIINGF PAYMENT; ADJUSTMENTPROVIDING FOF PENALTIES; CHARGES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the monthly charges for solid waste collection and disposal and for. curbside recyclable materials and M recovery services for residential units in the Griffin Road area of the City of Dania for the year 1992, are hereby established and imposed as follows: $ 18 .76 . ; Collection and disposal of solid waste Curbside recyclable materials collection _2 25 and recovery service 56 rt`.. Administrative fee $ 21.57 .ti Total: Section 2 . That the foregoing charges shall be billed in advance bi-monthly to the owner of the property serviced beginning January 1, 1992 . Section 3 . That a ten percent ( 10b ) penalty shall be charged to any account that is not paid within fifteen ( 15 ) days after the billing date. section 4_ That the foregoing charyes are subject to change :if during the yeac 1992 , Brov:ard County increases its disposal cost (tipping fees ) which are currently yet at $62 .50 per ton. 149-91 Resolution No. i i i. k Any such increase in disposal charges and administrative charges connected therewith shall be prorated among the residential units and the monthly unit charges shall be increased by that amount. Section 5. That all receipts from the collection of the charges herein imposed shall be restricted solely to the cost of providing the solid waste collection and disposal services and administrative costs related thereto for the subject area. Section 6. Any account that remains unpaid for more than thirty (30) days shall become a lien on the property served and shall be enforced by judicial action in accordance with the laws of Florida. S, 1.1i Section 7. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the 1 extent of such conflict. Section 8. That this resolution shall be in force and take effect January 1, 1992. PASSED and ADOPTED on the 17th day of December, 1991.
