RESOLUTION NO. 128-91
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA,
APPROVING THAT CERTAIN PROPOSAL FOR
PROFESSIONAL PLANNING SERVICES BETWEEN THE
CITY OF DANIA AND LEIGH ROBINSON KERR &
ASSOCIATES, INC. , RELATING TO LAND USE ELEMENT
CERTIFICATION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That that certain Proposal for Professional
,y Planning Services between the City of Dania and Leigh Robinson
Kerr & Associates, Inc. , relating to land use element
r certification, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A",
3 be and the same is hereby approved, and the appropriate city
r � officials are hereby directed to execute same.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in force and take
effect on September 30, 1991 .

Leigh Robinson Kerr & Associates is pleased to present this
1 proposal for Professional Planning Services for the Certification
'.a of the City of Dania Land Use Element by the Broward County
y Planning Council. This proposal is based upon the existing
4;3 I Comprehensive Plan for the City of Dania and does not include
recently annexed lands. We propose to provide this service in a
two-step approach with an optional task if Part III information is
,'. not readily available. We propose to provide the following:
SCOPE OF SERVICES:
PART I PROVISIONAL CERTIFICATION
A. Preparation of documents in accordance with the Broward
County Planning Council Checklist for Local Government
Certification.
This does not include tables for each flexibility zone
indicating acreage by land use category and number of
permitted dwelling units. This is outlined as an option
under PART III below.
B. Meetings with the City staff during preparation of the
documents.

during review of the Provisional Certification.

certification. This will typical entail amendments to
the Land Use Element and possibly the Comprehensive Plan
for the City of Dania. We will provide the necessary
documents and amendments required by the Broward County
Planning Council to secure full certification by that
agency.
B. Meeting with the City staff, as necessary.
C. Meeting with the Broward County Planning Council staff
during the review of these documents.
D. Meeting with the Broward County Planning Council for full
certification.

PART III FLEXIBILITY ZONE TABLES (OPTIONAL)
A. Preparation of tables indicating planned acreage by land
use category by flexibility zone.
B. Preparation

PART IV ASSUMPTIONS
A. City of Dania will provide the necessary copies of the
Land Use Mar) and comprehensive Plan Text as required to
prepare the docum nts and submit necessary copies for the
reviewing agencies.
B. City staff will review the documents with the Planning
and Zoning Board and the City Commission prior to
transmittal to the reviewing agencies.

PART V PROFESSIONAL FEES
A. We propose to provide these services on an hourly basis
with estimated budgets as outlined below:

y Reimbursables will be billed at direct cost.
These fees would include printing and binding of the
report documents and are not anticipated to exceed
$250.00.
All billings will occur on a monthly basis based upon the
hourly rates stipulated above.

receipt of a signed copy of this proposal or a purchase order for
same. Please indicate whether the consultant will undertake Part
