RESOLUTION NO. 110-91
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA,
APPROVING CONTRACT FOR SERVICE BETWEEN THE
CITY OF DANIA, AND MAURICE J. CONNELL
ENTERPRISES RELATING TO CONSULTANT SERVICES;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That that certain Contract for Service between
the City of Dania and Maurice J. Connell Enterprises, relating to
consultant services, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit
"A", be and the same is hereby approved and the appropriate city

Section 2. That this resolution shall be in force and take
effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.

CONTRACT FOR SERVICE
THIS AGREEMENT executed this day of ,
1991, by and between the CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, a municipal
corporation, existing under the laws of the State of Florida,
hereinafter referred to as "Dania", and MAURICE J. CONNELL
ENTERPRISES, hereinafter referred to as "Coordinator" .
Dania, finding it desirable to secure assistance in
obtaining certain grants from the federal and state government,
and the Coordinator, having the experience to provide those
services, it is desirable to enter into an agreement so that these
-}; services be executed by the parties.
IN CONSIDERATION of mutual promises and understandings,
set forth herein, Dania and the Coordinator agree as follows :
1 . That the Coordinator shall provide services to Dania,
✓ commencing October 1, 1991, and continuing until September 30,
1992.
2. That the Coordinator, on behalf of Dania, shall aid in
! securing and the work necessary to the completion of grants and
associated benefits contained in the Domestic Catalogue and
Federal Aid to Governmental Entities .
3. That for such services, Dania shall pay an annual fee to
the Coordinator of $18,000.00. Dania shall reimburse the
Coordinator for telephone expenses and shall reimburse the
Coordinator for authorized official travel expenses in his
capacity as an independent contractor and not as an employee of
Dania. EXHIBIT "A"
