RESOLUTION NO. 122- 92
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA,
AMENDING SUB-PARAGRAPHS ( 1 ) AND (2 ) OF SECTION
1 OF RESOLUTION NO. 113-91 AS PASSED AND
ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 24, 1991 TO INCREASE THE
CHARGES FOR SEWER SERVICE; PROVIDING THAT ALL
RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT OF
SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
FLORIDA:
Section 1 . As provided for in Section 27-56 of Ordinance No.
30-91 , entitled "Rates and Charges for Sewer Service, " as passed
and adopted on second and final reading on September 11 , 1991 the
jfollowing rates for sewer service be and the same are hereby : •.
approved and adopted:

"( 1 ) Residential users. A base charge of fifteen dollars and
thirty-six cents ( $15.36) bi-monthly shall be applied to all
single-family residences, each living unit in cooperative and
condominium usages, multi-family structures, and each unit in
mobile home parks for sewer service supplied to each of such units
for said bi-monthly period. In addition, a charge of three
dollars and sixty cents ( $3 .60 ) will be charged for each thousand
( 1 , 000) gallons of water used to a maximum of thirty-six thousand
( 36, 000 ) gallons by each of such units for said bi-monthly period.
(2 ) Commercial, businesses and industrial users. A bi-monthly
base charge per meter according to the size thereof for sewer
service to a commercial, industrial, business, institutional or
similar unit, building or complex, and each separate municipal or
other governmental agency, building or special type unit shall be
levied according to the following schedule:

In addition, there will be a charge of three dollars and
sixty cents ( ) gallons of water
Y ( 53. 60) for each thousand 1,000
used by each of such units for said bi-monthly period.
The charges listed in ( 1) and (2) above shall be charged
j1 continuously even though the owners or occupants of said premises
may have discontinued the use of municipal water services.
However, when the owner of property requests that the water meter t
be removed from the premises, billing will be discontinued until
such time as the meter is reinstalled.
The charges listed in ( 1 ) and (2 ) above shall remain in force 44�
as long as the service is connected to the water main, whether
turned on or off. However, when the owner of property requests
that a meter be removed from the premises, billing will be
discontinued until such time as the owner requests that the meter
I be reinstalled and service continued. A charge of one hundred !
dollars ( $100.00) will be assessed for the reinstallation. "
Section 2 . That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be in force and take f
effect as of the October 1 , 1992 billing date.
