City Clerk Mullikin present her survey conducted with other cities 4 in regards t.o a Budget Advisory Board. Ms. Mullikin reported that I recently liollywood and Tamarac disbanded their boards and out of nine I cities ; Davie is the only city who presently uses this type of board. The Conuais; ;ion discussed the qualifications necessary for board members .lnd the nuulher of appointments to make up the board . mmissioner B.-rtino felt that the City should conduct more public he.lrings to allow public input. opposed to creating a board and having to tiorr ahrnit whether enough people will show up to form a quorum. City Manager Flatley suggested the Commission submit their input on improvements to Modello Park which are being paid for under Community Development Block Grant. funds.
