I Award of bid for Modcllo Park improvements. i Tim Tapp, Parks 6 Recreation Director, advised that the City received three bids on this; project as follows : Solo Construction $114 , 000 United underground Contractor Corp. $188 , 599 Golden I?agle Engineering Contractors $193, 750 Mr . Tapp recommended Solo Construction be awarded the bid for this project and advised that the City Engineers have reviewed the bids and atlree with this dirt-ction . A motion was made by Commissioner Bertino, seconded by Commissioner D(tnly to award the bid to Solo Construction for $114 ,000. Mr. 'Tapp commented on the variety of procedures used to grant free parking to these individuals and the enforcement problems for city personnel . fie suggested to not issue tickets for certain reserved parking spaces up t.hru 11 :00 a.m. to he used by restaurant patrons .
