Home My WebLink AboutO-1993-020 �t r(I 1 j ORDINANCE NO. 20-93 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, TO PROHIBIT THE FEEDING OR MOLESTATION OF MONKEYS AND OTHER WILD ANIMALS WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF DANIA; PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES AND ALL RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA: Section That the feeding or molestation of monkeys or other wild animals, (ferae naturae) including alligators, is hereby ordained to be unlawful and prohibited within the i corporate limits of the City of Dania, Florida. f Sect4on2. That any person who is found guilty of violating this ordinance shall be punished as provided for in Section 1-8 of Chapter 1 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Dania, Florida. 1 lion 3. It is the intention of the Dania City Commissioners that the provisions of this ordinance shall become and be made a part of the City of Dania Code; and that the sections of ` this ordinance may be renumbered or relettered and the word 'ordinance" may be changed to i "section", "article" or such other appropriate word or phrase in order to accomplish such intentions. Section 4.
