RESOLUTION NO.
{ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, 1
AMENDING SECTION 3, OF RESOLUTION 150-92 AS PASSED f
AND ADOPTED ON OCTOBER 27, 1992 TO PROVIDE FOR `f
PENALTIES FOR DELINQUENT PAYMENT OF SANITATION I
BILLS WITHIN THE RESIDENTIAL AREAS OF THAT PORTION
OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, KNOWN AND REFERRED
TO AS THE GRIFFIN ROAD AREA: AND PROVIDING THAT ALL
RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH
CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. r

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
FLORIDA: ' 'ft

lion 1• That section 3 of Resolution 150-92 as passed and adopted on October
27, 1992, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sgc3_Bills are due when rendered and are delinquent 20 days after the initial
rendition of the bill. If bills are not paid within the 20 day period, with 2:00 P.M.
being the cut off time on the last day, a 10% penalty will be assessed. If bills are
not paid within 30 days after the initial rendition of the bill, a lien will be applied
against the property." Any unpaid charges will be added to the next month's bill.

� Sect Qo-Z. Except as herein amended, all other provisions of said Resolution No.
150-92 shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the
same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Sect on 4• That this resolution shall be in force and take effect October 1, 1993.
