A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA
AMENDING SECTION 1 SUB-PARAGRAPHS (1) AND (2)
OF RESOLUTION 17-92 AS PASSED AND ADOPTED ON
FEBRUARY 11. 1992; PROVIDING FOR 81-MONTHLY
RATES TO B
PROVIDING THAT ALL MONTHLY

TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT AND PROVIDING

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
FLORIDA: -
Section 1 That Section 1 Sub-paragraphs (1) and (2) of Resolution Number
17-92, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(1) Residential users A base charge of four dollars and thirty-three cents
thly
shall be applied to all single-family residences, each living unit in cooperative nand
condominium usages, multi-family structures, and each unit in mobile home parks for
water supplied to each of such units for said monthly period. In addition, a charge for
each thousand (1,000) gallons of water used by each of such units for said monthly period
will be made according to the following schedule:
$1.22 for each 1,000 gallons
0 gallons.
$1.53 for each 1,000 gallons used from 9,009 o0114,000 gallons
j $1.83 for each 1,000 gallons used over 14,000. 1

(2) Commercial business sprinkler meters and industrial use A monthly base charge
per meter according to the size thereof for service to a commercial, industrial, business,
complex, and each separate municipal or other governmental agency, building or special f
type unit shall be levied according to the following schedule: 1

In addition, a charge for each thousand 1,000

1" meter $1.22 for each 1,000 gallons used from 0 to 45,000 gallons. I

$1.53 for each 1,000 gallons used from 45,001 to 58,000.

$1.83 for each 1,000 gallons used over 58,000.
1-1/2" meter $1.22 for each 1,000 galions used from 0 to 54,000 gallons.
$1.53 for each 1,000 gallons used from 54,001 to 79,000 gallons.
$1.83 for each 1,000 gallons used over 79,000.
2" meter $1.22 for each 1,000 gallons used from 0 to 110,000 gallons.
" $1.53 for each 1,000 gallons used from 110,001 to 150,000 gals.
{ $1.83 for each 1,000 gallons used over 150,000.
3" meter $1.22 for each 1,000 gallons used from 0 to 264,000 gallons.

$1.53 for each 1,000 gallons used from 264,001 to 344,000 gals. i
$1.83 for each 1,000 gallons used over 344,000
1 4" meter $1.22 for each 1,000 gallons used from 0 to 750,000 gallons.

$1.53 for each 1,000 gallons used from 750,001 to 875,000 gals.
$1.83 for each 1,000 gallons used over 875,000.
6" meter $1.22 for each 1,000 gallons used from 0 to 1,497,000 gallons.
$1.53 for each 1,000 gallons used from 1,497,001 to 1,747,000 .
$1.83 for each 1,000 gallons used over 1,747,000.
The charges listed in (1) and (2) above shall remain in force as long as the service is ' -
connected to the water main, whether turned on or off. However, when the owner of f
property requests that a meter be removed from the premises, billing will be discontinued
until such time as the owner requests that the meter be reinstalled and service continued.
A charge of one hundred dollars ($100.00) will be assessed for the reinstallation." '_

Section 2. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the
same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be in force and take effect immediately upon its
jpassage and adoption.
