WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Dania, Florida, has determined that it is appropriate to levy fees for the use of certain city facilities and/or services provided. �M1h NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA: 1t aX Af Section 1 That the fees and charges related to the use of the "Nyberg/Swanson house be and the same are hereby established in accordance with the fee schedule described in Exhibit "A" i f a attached hereto and made a part hereof. !i Aj a j Section 2 That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same ' ` are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. i ` Section 3 That this resolution shall be in force and take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption. A CITY SPONSORED ORGANIZATION - Shall mean any group officially recognized and supported by l the city commission or one of the city's operating departments. ` HOUR -Whenever the term "per hour" is used it shall mean any full hour or portion thereof. RESERVATION - Shall mean the completion in full of the facility lease agreement, payment of the . required deposit and furnishing of insurance and licenses when required. A current utility bill (phone, electric, water) showing the same Dania address in the same name of the lessee. Recommendations follow: (rental of each facility charged separately) Main House per hour with a two (2) hour minimum Patio Area (per hour) $50.00 Kitchen area (per hour) 10.00 10.00 A security deposit similar to that charged for rental of the I.T. Parker Community Center and other city facilities was also recommended. 7, On motion made and seconded the above rates were approved by the committee and f will be presented to the commission for its approval and formal adoption. ,+ cJ The sale of signature bricks will continue through the celebrations scheduled for the ,,_ *� city's 90th birthday party. Vendor spaces will be sold for the event and by motion made and carried, Beulah Lair was chosen to contact Will Allen and request that the committee's vendor space be at no charge since proceeds of the sale of signature bricks will be used to benefit city facilities. A I M1 Y.5w.1 y uk'. xa n The sale of Nyberg/Swanson ceramic cups was suggested and, because the committee does not have $300.00 to cover the cost of 144 cups, the board will speak with Will Allen and maybe y, + Y approach the Historical Society for initial funding of this project. k� Sterling Collins introduced his daughter Kimberly Ford, an advertising instructor at Miami Dade Community College, who presented samples of brochures.
