HomeMy WebLinkAboutO-1995-006ORDINANGE NO. 06-95 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 1, ARTICLE 2 OF PART IX AND SECTION 1, ARTICLE 3 OF PART XI OF THE CITY CHARTER TO ELIMINATE THE REQUIREMENT OF REAL PROPERry OWNERSHIP TO BE ELIGIBLE TO SERVE AS A MEMBER OF THE "AIRPORT ADVISORY COMMITTEE" OR THE "Clry PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD"; PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES AND ALL RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA: Section 1. That Section 1, Article 2 of Part lX and Section 1, Article 3 of Part Xl of the Gity Charter are hereby amended by eliminating the requirement of rea! property ownership to be eligible to serve as a member of the "Airport Advisory Committee" or "The City Planning and Zoning Board". Section 2. That except as herein amended, all other provisions of said Section 1, Article 2 ot Pafi lX and Section 1, Article 3, Part Xl of the City Charter shall remain in full force and effect. Section 3, That all ordinances or parls of ordinances and all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in force and take effect immediately upon its final passage and adoption. Ordinance No. 06-95 1995.
