A RESOLUTION OF THE CIry OF DANIA, FLORIDA
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING EXCHANGE OF REAL
PROPERry BETWEEN THE CIry OF DANIA AND
BROWARD COUNTY; PROVIDING THAT ALL
RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT
OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Dania owns the following described lands in Broward
County, Florida, more particularly described as follows:
Exhibit A
Legal description attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit "A."
WHEREAS, Broward County desires the above described lands for park
purposes, and;
WHEREAS, Broward County owns the following described lands more
particularly described as follows:
Exhibit B
Legal description attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit "8."
WHEREAS, the City Commission is of the opinion that it would be in the best
interest of the City to exchange with Broward County, the lands above described;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized and
directed to effect the exchange of property according to the term and conditions of this
resolution.
Section 2. That the exchange of property shall be accomplished by statutory
deed per F.S. 125.411from the County and a similar deed from the City of Dania.

Section 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be in force and take effect immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
