TO CITY MANAGER RE: CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING UNIT FOR MODELLO PARK i STAFF RECOMMENDS THAT THE CITY PURCHASE A 12 S.E.E.R. CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING UNIT FOR THE MODELLO PARK RECREATION CENTER. THIS UNIT WOULD COME FROM CAPITAL AIR, INC. FOR $8,300. ALTHOUGH ONE QUOTE WAS INITIALLY LESS EXPENSIVE THAT THE ONE SUBMITTED BY CAPITAL, WE HAVE FOUND r BASED UPON A COST ANALYSIS OF VARIOUS UNITS THAT THE UNIT FROM CAPITAL AIR WILL BE THE MOST COST EFFICIENT. THERE ARE TWO REASONS FOR THIS FINDING: 1. THE ENERGY COST SAVINGS ASSOCIATED WITH THE UNIT FROM CAPITAL AIR 2. THE SCOPE OF SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY CAPITAL IS GREATER THAN THAT OF THE OTHER COMPANIES CAPITAL AIR HAS ALSO INSTALLED UNITS IN OTHER CITY FACITLITIES IN THE PAST AND THE WORKMANSHIP HAS BEEN OF GOOD QUALITY. t Air Conditioning•Hut Pumps Air Condllioning•Heat Pumps • WE SELL CAPITAL • Broward • WE INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING • Palm Beach J • WE SERVICE • Dade 3811 S.W.47 Ave. #601 Ft.
