Home My WebLink AboutR-1999-217 r, T 7 F �� L .r f «` e Z`�— r T 7 r RESOLUTION NO. 217-99 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $ 200.00 AS SUBMITTED BY BARBER ELECTRIC SERVICES, INC.; PROVIDING FOR A DECREASE IN THE CONTRACT PRICE FROM $8,923.88 TO $8,723.88 FOR THE PIER LIGHTING PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; FURTHER, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA; WHEREAS, the Dania Beach City Commission, on October 12, 1999, adopted Resolution Number 189-99 accepting the proposal from Barber Electrical Services, Inc. for the installation of pier lighting at the Dania Beach Pier in the amount of $8,923.88; and WHEREAS, the City of Dania Beach has waived the permitting fees for this City project, thereby, reducing the proposal amount from Barber Electrical Services, Inc. by $200.00; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. That Change Order No. 1 as submitted by Barber Electrical Services, Inc. in the amount of $200.00, decreasing the contract price from $8,923.88 to $8,723.88, for installation of lighting improvements at the Dania Beach Pier, in substantial form as Exhibit "A", attached, is approved and the appropriate city officials are authorized to execute it. Section 2. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this resolution are repealed to the extent of such conflict. 1 RESOLUTION NO. 217-99 j 1 .. 4-. r i Section 3. FOR LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS AT DANIA BEACH PIER, AUTHORIZING THE PROPER CITY OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH BARBER ELECTRICAL SERVICES, INC. MATERIALS NR LAE30R AN ECESSARY FOR THE 10 STALLATION OF SECURITY LIGHTING AT DANIA BEACH PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT PIER; S; FURTHER, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Section 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict are repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 4. That this resolution shall be in force and take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
