HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-1987-066 RESOLUTION NO. 66-87 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, VACATING CERTAIN 30 ' INGRESS-EGRESS EASEMENT LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS : A PARCEL OF LAND BEING A PORTION OF "AIRVIEW HOTEL" PLAT AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 125 , PAGE 16 , OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, SAID PARCEL BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCE AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE SAID "AIRVIEW HOTEL" PLAT ; THENCE ON A GRID BEARING OF N O1039' 43" W ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID "AIRVIEW HOTEL" PLAT , A DISTANCE OF 399. 62 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE N 79053 ' 14" W A DISTANCE OF 30. 64 FEET TO A POINT ON A LINE 30 . 00 FEET WEST OF AND PARALLEL WITH THE SAID EAST LINE ; THENCE S 21°53 ' 15" W A DISTANCE OF 97. 11 FEET TO A POINT ON A LINE 68 .80 FEET WEST OF AND PARALLEL WITH THE SAID EAST LINE ; THENCE S O1039' 43" E ALONG SAID PARALLEL LINE A DISTANCE OF 315. 93 FEET TO A POINT ON THE ARC OF A NON-TANGENT CURVE , A RADIAL LINE OF SAID CURVE THROUGH SAID POINT HAVING A BEARING OF S O1°43 ' 32" E , SAID POINT ALSO BEING A POINT ON THE SOUTH LINE OF THE SAID AIRVIEW HOTEL PLAT; THENCE EASTERLY ALONG THE ARC OF SAID CURVE TO THE RIGHT , HAVING A CENTRAL ANGLE OF 00043 ' 31" AND A RADIUS OF 2370. 33 FOR AN ARC DISTANCE OF 30. 00 FEET TO A POINT ON A NON-TANGENT LINE , SAID POINT ALSO BEING 38 . 80 FEET WEST OF AND PARALLEL WITH THE SAID EAST LINE ; THENCE N O1039 '43" W ALONG SAID PARALLEL LINE A DISTANCE OF 309. 83 FEET; THENCE N 21°53 ' 15" E A DISTANCE OF 97. 11 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING ; LESS THAT PORTION LYING WITHIN THE DEDICATED RIGHT-OF-WAY AS SHOWN ON SAID PLAT; SAID LAND SITUATE WITHIN THE CITY OF DANIA, BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, CONTAINING 11,331 SQUARE FEET , MORE OR LESS ; TOGETHER WITH F, NON-VEHICULAR ACCESS LINES BEING ON THE EAST AND WEST LINES OF THE 30 FOOT INGRESS-EGRESS EASEMENT AS , . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA: - Section 1. That the City Commission does hereby find and determine that the procedure for the vacation and abandonment of the subject 30' ingress-egress easement has been in strict con- formity with the requirements of Section 3 , Article 3 , Part IX of the Charter of the City of Dania. Section 3 . That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the ex- j tent of such conflict . Section 4 . That this resolution shall be in force and take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
