A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, VACATING
CERTAIN 30 ' INGRESS-EGRESS EASEMENT LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS :
A PARCEL OF LAND BEING A PORTION OF "AIRVIEW HOTEL" PLAT
AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 125 , PAGE 16 , OF THE PUBLIC
RECORDS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, SAID PARCEL BEING
MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCE AT THE
SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE SAID "AIRVIEW HOTEL" PLAT ; THENCE
ON A GRID BEARING OF N O1039' 43" W ALONG THE EAST LINE OF
SAID "AIRVIEW HOTEL" PLAT , A DISTANCE OF 399. 62 FEET TO
THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE N 79053 ' 14" W A DISTANCE OF
30. 64 FEET TO A POINT ON A LINE 30 . 00 FEET WEST OF AND
PARALLEL WITH THE SAID EAST LINE ; THENCE S 21°53 ' 15" W A

SHOWN ON SAID PLAT OF "AIRVIEW HOTEL" PLAT, BOUNDED ON THE
SOUTH BY A LINE 10 FEET NORTH OF THE SOUTH LINE OF PARCEL
"A" OF SAID PLAT, AND BOUNDED ON THE NORTH BY A LINE 60
FEET NORTH OF THE SOUTH LINE OF PARCEL A, OF SAID PLAT ; AND
PROVIDING THAT ALL RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CON-
FLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 3 , Article 3 , Part IX, as amended, of the
Charter of the City of Dania, sets forth the procedure for va-
cating and abandoning streets , alleys or other property dedicated
to the public use; and
WHEREAS , Airview Developers , Ltd. duly petitioned the City
Commission, City of Dania, Florida , for the vacation of certain
30' ingress-egress easement legally described as follows :
A PARCEL OF LAND BEING A PORTION OF "AIRVIEW HOTEL" PLAT
AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 125 , PAGE 16 , OF THE PUBLIC
RECORDS OF BROWARD COUNTY , FLORIDA, SAID PARCEL BEING
MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCE AT THE

WHEREAS , the City Commission referred said petition to the
City Planning and Zoning Board for its recommendation; and
WHEREAS , at the meeting of the Planning and Zoning Board
held on the 3rd day of November 1987, the Planning
and Zoning Board unanimously voted to recommend that the said
30 ' ingress-egress easement be vacated and abandoned; and
WHEREAS , after publication of notice as required by Section
3, Article 3 , Part IX of the Charter of the City of Dania , a
public hearing was held before the City Commission at its regular
meeting held on the 24th day of November , 1987 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA: -
Section 1. That the City Commission of the City of Dania,
Florida , does hereby vacate, abandon, renounce and disclaim all
of the right , title and interest of the City of Dania in and to
the following 30' ingress-egress easement , to-wit :
A PARCEL OF LAND BEING A PORTION OF "AIRVIEW HOTEL" PLAT
AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 125 , PAGE 16 , OF THE PUBLIC
RECORDS OF BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, SAID PARCEL BEING
MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCE AT THE
SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE SAID "AIRVIEW HOTEL" PLAT ; THENCE

Section 2 . That the City Commission does hereby find and
determine that the procedure for the vacation and abandonment of
the subject 30' ingress-egress easement has been in strict con-
formity with the requirements of Section 3 , Article 3 , Part IX of
the Charter of the City of Dania.
Section 3 . That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the ex-
j tent of such conflict .
Section 4 . That this resolution shall be in force and take
effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
