RIGHT-OF-WAY LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS:

Charter of the City of Dania , sets forth the procedure for va-
cating and abandoning streets , alleys or other property dedicated
to the public use ; and
WHEREAS , MARVIN MANDEL duly petitioned the City Commission,
City of Dania , Florida , for the vacation of certain street right-

WHEREAS , the City Commission referred said petition to the
City Planning and Zoning Board for its recommendation; and
WHEREAS , at the meeting of the Planning and Zoning Board held

on the lcr day of Aprj1 1986 , the Planning and
Zoning Board unanimously voted to recommend that the said street
j right-of-way be vacated and abandoned; and
WHEREAS , after publication of notice as required by Section
3 , Article 3 , Part IX of the Charter of the City of Dania , a
public hearing was held before the City Commission at its regular
meeting held on the 22nd day of April 1986.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
j Section 1. That the City Commission of the City of Dania ,
Florida , does hereby vacate, abandon, renounce and disclaim all

Section 2. That the City Commission does hereby find and

determine that the procedure for the vacation and abandonment of
the subject street right-of-way has been in strict conformity
with the requirements of Section 3 , Article 3 , Part IX of the
Charter of the City of Dania.
Section 3 . That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the ex-
tent of such conflict.
Section 4 . That this resolution shall be in force and take
effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED and ADOPTED on this 22nd day of ril 1986.

VACATION OF PORTION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR TIGERTAIL BOULEVARD
w VC-20-86
On behalf of the petitioner, I hereby request that the Dania City Commission ti
waive the replatting requirements for a portion of the right-of-way vacation
encompassed in petition 6VC-20-86.
The applicant has filed a plat with the city (PL-19-86) for a parcel of land
immediately west of the I-95 right-of-way. This plat (Designers Place)
includes approximately 550 linear feet of. the Tigertail Boulevard right-of-way
covered by the vacation request. The city's replatting requirements are being
met for this portion of the vacation request.
In addition, the vacation petition requests vacation of the northernmost 10
feet of the Tigertail Boulevard right-of-way from the Designers Place plat
west the full extent of the Florida Steel property (see enclosed exhibit). A
plat is not being filed at this time for this portion of the property.

We are requesting that the City Commission consider this request to waive the
replatting requirement for that portion of the Tigertail Boulevard
right-of-way vacation not included in the re-platting at the March 11, 1986
City Commission meeting. The Designers Place plat has already been scheduled
on that agenda for first reading.
