RESOLUTION 22-84
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA,
GRANTING UTILITY EASEMENTS AS REQUIRED FOR
THE INSTALLATION OF WATER, SEWER, TELEPHONE ,
ELECTRIC AND OTHER SERVICES NEEDED AND RE-
QUIRED IN CONNECTION WITH IMPROVEMENTS BEING
CONSTRUCTED ON CITY-OWNED LANDS LOCATED AT
DANIA BEACH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS , The Carrousel Group , Inc. is constructing improvements
on and to a parcel of real property located on Dania Beach in ac-
cordance with the terms and conditions of a lease agreement with
the City of Dania, Florida; and
WHEREAS , certain easements are required in connection with
said construction for the installation of water, sewer, electric ,
telephone , liquified petroleum and/or natural gas and other
utility facilities which will serve said leased property as well
as other city owned properties contiguous to same; ti• r

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
i� Section 1. That utility easements are hereby established over,
I across and under that certain real property located at Dania Beach
I
that is owned in fee simple by the City of Dania, Florida, (and
leased to The Carrousel Group , Inc . ) for the installation and
operation of water, sewer, electric , telephone, liquified petroleum
and/or natural gas and other utility facilities that are needed
and required in connection with improvements being constructed by
The Carrousel Group , Inc . , on the real property legally described
in "Exhibit A" which is attached hereto and made a part hereof,
which said corporation has leased from the City of Dania, Florida,
with the exact location or locations of said easements to be shown
on the "as built" plans approved by the city engineer and filed

in the records of the City of Dania.
Section 2. That as a part of the consideration for the granting

of the easement or easements as herein related, The Carrousel Group ,
Inc. , as lessee of the subject property has agreed, at no expense to

the City of Dania, to pay for the construction costs allocated
to provide sanitary sewer capacity to enable the City of Dania to
tie-in its existing facilities at Dania Beach. All such construc-
tion to be in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared
by the engineering firm of Berry, Calvin, Broome and Farina
identified as Project No. 83-121 which plans are in lieu of a
subaqueous crossing connection with the City of Dania water and
sewer facilities .
Section 3. That this resolution shall be in force and take
effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 22nd day of May 1984.

West face of an existing bulkhead; thence,
Northerly along the West face of said bulkhead
