HomeMy WebLinkAboutO-1997-022 � I d ORDINANCE NO. 22-97 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 28, ZONING; ARTICLE 4, DISTRICT REGULATIONS, SECTION 4.20 - APPLICATION OF REGULATIONS, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, BY ADDING A SPECIAL EXCEPTION CATEGORY TO THE RD-6000 DISTRICT WHICH ALLOWS THE USE OF STORAGE FACILITIES FOR CHURCHES AND SCHOOLS WITHIN 200 FEET OF SUCH APPROVED CHURCH OR SCHOOL; PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES AND ALL RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA: Section 1. That Chapter 28, Zoning; Article 4, District Regulations, Section 4.20 - Application of Regulations — Schedule of Use Regulatic-s, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Dania, be and the same is hereby amended by adding a Special Exception Use to the RD-6000 District Regulations which shall read as follows: 5. Storage facility for a church or school when the site is within two hundred (200) feet of the approved church or school and further that any structure built and/or utilized under this provision maintains the residential appearance of the zoning district. Section 2. That except as herein amended, all other provisions of said Article 4 of Chapter 28 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Dania, Florida, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect. Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances and all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 4.
