AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 25 REGARDING A
PUBLIC HEARING ON FEBRUARY 3, 1975 AND A FINDING THAT
THE FRANCHISEE FLORIDA GOLD COAST CABLE T.V., INC.
HAS THE QUALIFICATIONS TO OPERATE A CABLE TELEVISION
SYSTEM IN DANIA, FLORIDA; PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES
OR RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE
EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 25 of the City of Dania,
Florida, commonly known as the "Cable TV Franchise Ordinance"
be and the same is hereby amended by adding a section to be
known as Section 23, which shall read as follows:
Section 23. That the City Commission, after prior
public notice given on January 17, 1975 and January
243 1975 and after a public hearing held on February
3, 1975 has determined that Florida Gold Coast TV,
Inc., has the legal, character, financial, technical
and other qualifications, including adequate and
feasible construction arrangements to operate a cable
television system in Dania, Florida.
Section 2. That all ordinances or resolutions in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in force and take
effect immediately upon its' passage and adoption on second and
final readings.
