The Public Services Director, Dominic Orlando, has reviewed the request and has no objections to it. Representatives of the County will be present at the May 13, 2008 City Commission meeting, at which time the request will be presented for formal approval (Resolution authorizing the grant of the easement). Please see supplied plans for details.This will require the outfall pipe to be run through the City of Dania Beach property into the closest body of water, 'rigcrtail hake. The plans propose a French drain system where the outfall pipe will be used for overflow only. This easement will enable Broward Co. to maintain.upgrade and/or repair the system in the future.
