The District Do^.xd of Hducation met with the council for the
purpose of ,having streets built to the east side of the schoal property.
110 definite action was taken d1t this meeting.
There bein.p no further busihess, the meeting was Adjourned to
August 28th 1925.

The follovring resolution was offered. by Councilman I.T.Parker,
who moved its adoptinn. lotion was seconded by Councilman ;R.L.Jones.
RESOLVLD that it is for the .best advantage of the Town of Dania
that the Dixie highway be widened from its present width to sixty-six
(66 ) feet from curb to curb and t- provide for an eight ( 5) foot side-
walk on each side.
UkVMMRAS, it is considered that the most advantageous way is to
take twenty four (24) feet from the east side and eight (8) feet from
the west side where necessary, and
THEIRi:FORE,BE`IT RI]SOLVED that the Town Council and Town authorities .
immediately take the Necessary steps to accomplish this matter. , AEI

All members present, except Councilmen L.T.Ellis.
Attorney yc3eth met with the Council to discuss and advise ways
and means of widening Dixie Avenue as set forth in reaolution, which was
,adopted at a 'Regular meeting held August 28th 1925.
After some discussion the Chairman of the Council instructed Attorney
McBeth to prepare the necessary resolution for the aforesaid improvement. '
Motion was made, seconded and carried to adjourn,
