JANUARY 19, 1982

1. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON AgUISITION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY
FROM PICCIRILLO:
City Manager Marant explained that this item involves the City's
attempts at trying to acquire easements from Mr. Piccirillo to
continue the sanitary sewer system under the local Block Grant
Funding Program.
Zoning Consultant Sparkman informed the Commission that he had
met with Mr. Piccirillo and the City Attorney and that an agree-
ment of $8,100.00 for the easement was agreed upon. He also
added that he felt this price was fair and that this was a
savings to the City in the long run. He then recommended that
the Commission approve this agreement.
After further discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Cook,
seconded by Commissioner Donly to approve the acquisition of the
right-of-way from Mr. Piccirillo in the amount of $8,100*00 plus filing
fees to be funded from the Combined -Utility Fund.
The motion passed on the following roll call vote:
Commissioner Adams-yes Commissioner Donly-yes
Commissioner Byrd-yes Mayor Bertino-yes
Commissioner Cook-yes
A motion was made'by Commissioner Byrd, seconded by Commissioner Donly
to adjourn this meeting. The motion passed unani ously.
