SPECIAL MEETING
DANIA CITY COMMISSION
JUNE 14, 1982
Roll Call :
Present:
Mayor: John Bertino
Vice Mayor: Chester A. Byrd
Commissioners: Jean.Cook
James Adams
City Attorney: Frank Adler
Administrative Asst. : Eugene Jewell
Deputy City Clerk: Mary Jabalee.
Absent:
Commissioner: Robert Donly
Police Chief: Rudolf Rigo
Building Official : Paul Maxwell
Zoning Consultant: Luther Sparkman
A motion was made by Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Adams
to excuse Commissioner Donly from this meeting due to his being involved
in Florida League of Cities activities. The motion passed unanimously.

Assistant City Attorney Earl Gallop reviewed the expansion agreements
and Letter of Understanding allowing the Housing Authority to stay in
the Social Services Center until they relocate. A second Letter of
Understanding assured the City of the County's backing the annexation
of land west of the City. He then requested that the Commission consi-
der the adoption of the resolution amending Section 4-C of Resolution
449 incorporating the agreements and Letters of Understanding.
Assistant City Attorney Gallop read the title of the resolution amending
Section 4-C of Resolution 449 by incorporating the agreements and the
Memorandum of Understanding.
A motion was made by Commissioner Adams, seconded by Commissioner Cook .
to adopt the resolution amending Section 4-C of Resolution 449 by in-
corporating the agreements and the Memorandum of Understanding.
The motion passed on the following roll call vote:
Commissioner Adams-yes Commissioner Cook-yes
Commissioner Byrd-yes Mayor Bertino-yes
A motion was made by Commissioner Adams, seconded by Commissioner Byrd to
approve the Stipulation to amend the Development Order and dismiss the
Appeal .
The motion passed on the following roll call vote:
Commissioner Adams-yes Commissioner Cook-yes
Commissioner Byrd-yes Mayor Bertino-yes

A motion was made by Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner Byrd
to adjourn this meeting. The motion passed unanimously.

City of Dania relating to the airport expansion:
(1) Replacement of Water and Roadway Facilities
2 Facility Lease and Social Services
�3)) Emergency Fire Protection Service
4) Noise Abatement Facility and Name.Recognition
2. Approval of Memorandum of Understanding for agreement to provide
back-up police service to the airport..
3. Approval of Resolution amending Section 4-C of Resolution 449 by
incorporating the agreements and the Memorandum of Understanding.
