Byrd Commissioners: James Adams Robert Donly City Attorney: Frank Adler City Manager: Richard Marant City Clerk: Wanda Mullikin . Absent: Commissioner: Jean Cook A motion was made by Commissioner Adams, seconded by Commissioner Donly to grant an excused absence for Commissioner Cook. The motion passed unanimously. 1. Discussion and award of electrical contract for renovation at Frost Park. City Manager Marant informed the Commission that three proposals had been received for electrical work for the renovation at Frost Park. He then read the following: Modular Electric, Inc. $3,982.00 Moore Electric $3,193.00 Hydro Electric $3,200.00 City Manager Marant recommended that Moore Electric be granted the contract. A motion was made by Commissioner Adams, .seconded by Commissioner Donly to award electrical contract for renovation at Frost Park to Moore Electric for $3,193.00 and to prepare a resolution for this item. The motion passed unanimously. 2. Award of contract to drill one 4" well approximately 130 feet deep in conjunction with application for additional water withdrawal , required by South Florida Water Management District. A motion was made by Commissioner Donly, seconded by Commissioner Byrd to adopt a resolution awarding contract to W.A. Brooks & Sons. in the amount of $3,120.00 without going out to bid. The motion passed on the following roll call vote: Commissioner Adams-yes Commissioner Donly-yes Commissioner Byrd-yes Mayor Bertino-yes DISCUSSION: Mayor Bertino commented on his concern that Dania has the highest millage rate in the County and that held—li- see it lowered. t Meetin ad *ourned.
