Byrd Commissioners: Jean Cook James Adams Robert Donly City Attorney: Frank Adler City Manager: Richard Marant Deputy City Clerk: Mary Jabalee PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPERTY TAX RELIEF AND THE PROPOSED GENERAL FUND BUDGET FOR 1982-83: City Attorney Adler read the resolution, in its entirety, approving the proposed millage rate necessary to be levied for the fiscal year 1982-83; and providing for a public hearing when objections thereto will be heard and questions concerning same will be answered. Commissioner Donly explained that the City's share from the distri- bution of the additional one cent sales tax was $288,860.00, and that the City used 100% of this money to reduce the ad valorem tax relief for Dania when 40% is only required.
