SPECIAL MEETING
JANUARY 27, 1983

Vice-Mayor Chester Byrd
1 1. Approval of Community Block Grant Proposals
a. After a brief presentation from Mark Novin, Grants Coordinator,
regarding Year #9, Completion of ongoing sanitary sewage program,
a motion was made by Commissioner Cook, seconded by Commissioner
Donly to approve the proposal in the amount of $274,042. The
motion passed unanimously.
b. After discussion of the Commercial Revitalization project, a motion
was made by Commissioner Donly, seconded by Commissioner Adams to
approve the proposal for Phase I in the amount of $25,000 and
additional funds for future phases predicated upon the findings
of the Phase I study. The motion passed unanimously.
The meeting adjourned.
