The City Commission of the City of Dania, Florida, met in Regular Session in the Commission Room at the City Hall. Present were: MAYOR-OOMMISSIONER VERA L. HILL COMMISSIONERS ROBERT L. GRAMMER VIRGIL L. TARPLEY S. ELLIS YOUNG ATTORNEY NORMAN THOMAS CITY MANAGER LESTER E. CULVERSON BUILDING INSPECTOR CHARLES LINDEMAN CHIEF OF POLICE - MONTIE SMITH CITY CLERK MARY THORNHILL ' The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Mayor Hill, after which Pledge of Allegiance to the flag and invocation was held. 1. Minutes of meetings held September 28 and October 5. A motion was made by Commissioner Tarpley that the minutes be adopted. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Young, , and the roll being called, the Commissioners voted as follows: Grammer Yes Tarpley Yea Young Yes Hill Yes 2. Ordinance: Establishing rates for Fishing Pier Admission. (Third and final reading) AN ORDINANCE establishing, a schedule of rates for admissions to the fishing pier located at Dania Beach, Dania, Broward County, Florida; and provid- ing that all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be repealed to the extent. of such conflict; and providing that this ordinance shall become effective as of its passage and adop- tion on third reading. A motion was made by Commissioner Tarpley that the ordinance be passed on third and final reading. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Young, and the roll being called, the Commissioners voted as follows: . Grammer ' Yes- Tarpley Yes Young Yes Hill Yes' - 3. Application for 2 APS License - Charlie James, Jr. 909 S. W. 12th Avenue. (First Reading) A motion was made by Commissioner Young to approve the license on first reading. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Tarp- ley, and the roll being called, the Commissioners voted as follows: ,, . Grammer Yes .. Tarpley .'Yes Young Yes Hill Yea 4, . ^N tr`, -1- 4. Application for 1 APS License. Fruito David Perez and Jose Maldonado, 317 N. W. 5th Avenue. Grocery Store. (First Reading) A motion was made by Commissioner Tarpley to approve the-license on first reading. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Young, and the roll being called, the Commissioners voted as follows: Grammer Yes Tarpley Yes Young Yes Hill Yes 5. Application for transfer of 4 COP License from Charles A and Elizabeth P. Lehew, the Irish Pub, 12 North Federal Highway. (First Reading) Transferred to James T. Belle. A motion was made by Commissioner Young to approve on first reading. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Tarpley, and the roll being called, the Commissioners voted as follows: Grammer Pass Tarpley Yes s Young Yes Hill Yes 6. City Manager's Report. Application for transfer of 4 COP License from Winterpark Inc. to Albert Pick Dining Inc, - Viking Restaurant. (First Reading) A motion was made by Commissioner Young to approve the license on first reading.
