.held on Tuesday October 8 4, !..D.1927 et 8 o'clock P.M. in the City
Hall, this being the regular meeting date for the council. Those
present were:
F_. J.Ryan, 114yor pro-tem :-nd councilman
John B. Gregory, Councilman.
O.S.Peok, Councilman
E.s.Tabbs, Councilman.
Llryor H. T. Tebbe and Councilman V7.C.Brrnett were absent.
The following also were present; .
R. T.Skinner, City Clerk and MFnager
T.D.E11is, Jr. , City Attorney.
The meeting wca called to order by Mayor pro-tem ..J.Ryan.
The minutes of the meeting held September 26, 1927 were read and approved
The City Clerk read a communication from Mrs. A.C.O'Hea mskzng of
the Dania woman's Club asking Council to replace three pine and seven
cocanut trees in the park which have died.
Councilman Tubbs made a motion that the city replace the trees.
The motion was seconded by Councilman John B. Gregory and upon being
put to a vote the motion carried as follows.
Councilman John B. Gregory, Aye
Councilman O.S.Peck, l.ye
Councilman E.S.Tubbs, Aye
Those voting nay, none.
The city Clerk read the following bills and asked their approval;
Danis Garage, Gas & oil $16.15
E Ramsey Hardware Co. Paint for traffic signs 27.35
Dr_nia Hardwire Co. Miscellaneous supplies 5.60
Dania Dept. Store- Gauze for wipe rags .50
Breedings Drug Shop Inc. it it It 1.00

Councilman peck made a motion that the bills be paid which waa
seconded by Councilman Tubbs. The council voted as follows;
Councilman John B. Gregory, dye
Councilman O.S.Peck, Aye
Councilman L.S.Tubbs, Aye
Those voting nay, none
The matter of granting a franchise to the Florida Power & Light
company and adopting a city budget was left over for the new council.

Councilman Tubbs made a motion to, adjourn4whichnwas seconded by
councilman Gregory and unanimously carried.
