FLORIDA HELD TUESDAY NOVEMBER 8,A.D.1927 at MOO '..M.
A meeting of the City Council of the City of Dania Vlorida was
held Tuesday Nov. 8 A.D.1927 at 11 L.M. pursuant to adjournment of the—
meeting held Monday Nov. 7 at 7:30 P.M. The following were present:
H. T. Tubbs, Mayor
W.C.Barnett,councilman
John B. Gregory, Councilman
E.S. Tubbs, Councilmen
A. J.Ryan, Councilman

Councilman O.S.Peok was absent.

The following also were present:.
Raymond T. Skinner, City Clerk
+ T.D.Ellis, Jr. ,City Attorney
Mayor Tubbs called the meeting to order.
The minutes of the meeting held Monday night Kov. 7, 1927 at
7:30 P.M.were read and approved.
The s council then remained in session until 12 M. when the
newly elected City officials took office. Retiring Mayor Tubbs turned
the chair over to Arthur C. O 'Hea, mayor elect.
T.D.Ellis, Jr. , notary public then administered the oath of
office to Mayor Arthur C. O 'Hea.
Members of the new city council then took their places as
follows: John B. Gregory, O.S.Peck, F.L.Neville and J.M.Holding. T.D.
Ellis:, Jr. notary public then administered the oath of office to the
new councilmen present. Councilman M.C.Frost was absent from the
meeting.
T.D.Ellis Jr. then administered the oath of office to Raymond
T. Skinner, City Clerk and John S. Odom, city tax assessor.
A boquet of flowers from the North Hollywood Improvement
Association was then presented to the new officers, the presentation
being made by Edward Murphy. On the behalf of the City and the new
officials, Mayor O 'Hea asoepted the flowers and thanked the committee .
from North Hollywood.
Councilman Neville announced that the new council would have
considerable business to attend to and suggested that it stay in
session and adjourn from time to time. He made a motion that the
meeting adjourn until Thursday afternoon, Nov.10, 1927 at 2 P.M. The
motion was seconded by councilman Gregory and upon being put to a
vote was carried unanimously.
