This went to the Special Magistrate on 6/19/06 for 7 violations. The Special Magistrate issued an order giving the respondent until 9/16/06 to comply or a fine of$150.00 per day would be levied. At the 11/13/06 hearing, the Special Magistrate Mark Berman confirmed the fine. Again at the 6/4/07 hearing, an authorization to foreclose was granted. The property was brought into compliance on 3/21/08. The fine ran from 9/16/06 through 3/21/08, 552 days @$150.00 per day =$82,800.00 plus the recording fee of$168.00 for a total of$82,968.00. At the 10/2/08 hearing, a continuance was granted until 11/6/08 hearing. At the 11/6/08 hearing, Special Magistrate Mitch Kraft recommended an abatement of$7,500.00 to the City Commission.
