Billie Phipps reported on fencing issues and made copies of the fence laws currently in place in Dania.
Several ideas were suggested regarding the types of fences and setback sizes. We will discuss this in more
detail
Possible safety issues were brought up regarding how far a boat could extend into canals from an end
property. Further research has to be done to determine what is safe and reasonable.
Ray suggested that the dock on 30th Ave.needs a"No Fishing Sign",because of people who are fishing
from the dock are also blocking boaters from docking or making it difficult for them to dock. Craig
suggested a sign stating"Fisherman stand clear of Lauching or Docking Boats". Boaters should have a
preference.
The Board is trying to find out when the Westrec contract is expiring with the city of Dania Beach. Craing
and Clive will try to investigate this..
• Meeting adjourned.
