Marine Advisory Board Meeting
Wednesday,October 17t6,2007
The meeting was called to order at 6:10 p,m. by Acting Chairman John Kafouros.

Representatives from Aqua Bella
The first item of business was a discussion concerning Aqua Bella request fpr
variances. (There is no backup on tape available. Recording equipment failed to
pick up entire meeting.) A motion was made,seconded and carried to support the
Aqua Bella request.
Minutes of the previous meeting were submitted for approval. Motion to approve
minutes as written was made,seconded and carried.
Jay Jackson reported on activity at the Marina. He said space on rued docks is
completely sold out and there is approximately 30 on a waiting list. The storage
area at the Marina is completed An oil spillage boom and pads will now be
ordered. The dock office and restrooms are nearing completion. Construction
should be completed in 3 to 4 weeks. The new fencing is ready for installation, As
soon as it is installed, renters will be notified of new security code via email. This
should benefit security at Marina

Colin Donnelly is supposed to activate tape recorder but I suggest you have someone
take minutes, just in case. Nothing was on the tape from the last meeting.
I've enclosed two copies of roll call. William Wosenitz requested an excused
absence. If I get additional requests I will try to get someone to let you know.
Copy of agenda is also enclosed.
I suggest you ask for a motion to remove Tom Grace from Board. He has never
attended a meeting. To remove him you need a motion, a second and a vote.
You can't make the motion but you can ask someone else to do it.
Since the minutes weren't recorded at the last meeting I am trying to put together
minutes by contacting people who were there and may have written some notes. I
have some already but would like it to be more complete. You can vote on it at the
next meeting.
