• Marine Advisory Board Meeting
Wednesday,July 18`,2007
Chairman Taylor was out of town. Acting Chairman Mike Grady called the
meeting to order at 6:10 p. m. There was not a quorum present.
Members present:

Colin Donnelly,Asst.City Manager

Since there was not a quorum present previous minutes could not be approved. The
• members who were present appreciated Mr.Donnelly attending the meeting and
decided to have an informal discussion. Mr.Donnelly said he would come back and
give his report on the Preliminary Marina Evaluation to the Board when more
members are present. This evening he just covered some of the major points. He
distributed copies of the Capital Improvement Request Form he had recently
submitted to the City and briefly described what was covered. He asked if the
Board had been furnished copies of the letter sent to Ivan Pato regarding Broward
Boating Improvement Program Grant Requests. When he learned the Board had
not received copies he volunteered to mail each member a copy.
The general discussion covered a number of related topics including the boat ramp
located in the Melaluca area and the restaurant located at the Pier.Members of the
Board were all in agreement the August Board Meeting should be cancelled since it
is doubtful there would be a quorum present. If anything of importance needs to be
covered in the meantime,either a special meeting will be called or members will be
contacted by phone.
Acting Chairman Grady adjourned the meeting at 7:00 p.m.
