Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
February 21,2006
The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board were scheduled to meet at 6:00 p.m. on
Tuesday,February 21"at Frost Park.
Members present:
Jo Ann Brave Lisa Drake Sharon Nearn
Kurt Ely Judy Jensen
Members absent:
Chip Brockman Julie Brockman Beulah Lair
Jimmy Peterman
Others present:
Kristen Jones,Parks & Recreation Director
Mark Felicetty,Senior Facilities Manager
Suzanne Witz
Chairman Ely reminded those in attendance that six members must be present to
have a quorum. Since only Five were present no business could be conducted. He
• plans to request the Commission to amend the Resolution to declare five members
as a quorum.
The attendees briefly discussed the March 4`s Frost Park Flea Market and some of
the tentative plans for use of the facility.
A question was asked about fees for the Meli Park facility. Chairman Ely said fee
schedules for each facility will be determined at a later date.
Mr.Felicetty mentioned he has been working on the RFPs for Meli Park and bids
for the Parker Center will be opened early in March.
Chairman Ely distributed sample jars of the delicious pickles he makes,thereby
making attendance at the meeting worthwhile. The meeting adjourned at 6:20 p.m.
