December 12,2005
Members of the Parks&Recreation Board were scheduled to meet at Mell Park on December 12's,
2005. Due to the condition of the facility the meeting was held outside. Chairman Ely called the
meeting to order at 6:30 PM.
Members present:
Kurt Ely Chip Brockman Julie Brockman Jimmy Peterman
Members absent:
Beulah Lair Jo Ann Brave Judy Jensen
Joe Peco Lisa Drake Sharon Nearn
Others present:
Kristen Jones,Parks&Recreation Director
Mark Felicetty,Senior Facility Manager
There was not a quorum present and no alternates were available. Those present agreed they would
have a discussion in regard to rates to be suggested for the Frost Park Facility at the next commission
meeting scheduled for January le.
Chairman Ely reported he had met with Kristen Jones and Mark Felicetty. They had arrived at the
• rates listed on the printout which had been distributed to those present. After a lively discussion it
was determined no consensus could be reached.
The possibility of changing the board meeting night was briefly discussed. Chairman Ely had
printed and distributed calendars for the board to use in making a decision. Under the
circumstances it was agreed the next board meeting will be held at Frost Park as previously
scheduled,Tuesday,January 17e. If a quorum is present changing the meeting date will be discussed
at that time.
Since there was no further items to be discussed the meeting was adjourned at 7:00 PM.
