ADVISORY BOARD MEETING
MINUTES
TUESDAY.OCTOBER 18.2005
Mark Felicetty called meeting at 6:05p.m.
Members present: Chip Brockman, Julie Brockman, Lisa Drake,Jimmy Peterman, Judy Jensen, Sharon
Nearn, Kurt Ely
Others: Mark Felicetty,Martha Riguero
Kurt Ely informed the board that Suzanne Witz is very ill and will not attend the meeting to do minutes,
staff will provide meeting minutes.
Mark Felicetty introduced Kurt Ely to board members.
Next in Agenda election of officers: Kurt Ely elected as Chairman and Jimmy Peterman as Vice-
Chairman
Mark Felicetty distributed copies of the Frost Park Recreational Complex Rental Fees. Mark Felicetty
informed members that Commissioners suggested that Parks and Recreation Board members should
discuss fees.Kurt Ely would like to compare Frost Park fees with I.T.Parker fees. I.T. Parker rental fees
• will be provided to members before next meeting. Frost Park Recreational fees discussion will continue
on November meeting.
Kurt Ely has four spaces for the Holiday Flea Market. Kurt Ely feels the Holiday Flea Market is the best
one due to the cool weather.
Mark Felicetty informed the board about Star Centennial Park dedication scheduled for Saturday, October
22nd, 10 a.m.
Mark Felicetty informed the board about the Halloween Celebration on Thursday, October 27', 5-9p.m.
at City Hall.

• Chip Brockman requested an updated status of lightening detectors for Frost Park, Thomas and Meli
Parks. Mark Felicetty informed the board members that he submitted information to City Manager, Ivan
Pato. Mark Felicetty will do a follow up and provide status information at the next meeting.
Board members approved July 19`h minutes.
Next meeting will be on Tuesday,November 15`h'6p.m. at Frost Park.
Meeting adjourned at 7:15p.m.
