1) E.A.R. BASED AMENDMENTS - Updates to the City of Dania Beach's Comprehensive
Plan based on the city's Evaluation and Appraisal Report.
Leigh Kerr of Leigh Kerr and Associates addressed the board as the City's land use
consultant. Mr. Kerr described amendments to the City's Comprehensive Land Use Plan
that were identified in the previously adopted Evaluation and Appraisal Report.
Leigh reviewed each of the updated policies, goals and objectives for each of the
elements of the plan for the board as recommended by the evaluation and appraisal
report. Staff is recommending approval for transmittal to the State.
After further discussion by the board. The item was opened for public comment.
Hearing none and seeing none the public hearing was closed.
A motion was made by Patrick Schilling, seconded by Lottye Crooms, to approve a
recommendation for transmittal to the State Department of Community Affairs. Motion
passed on the following roll call:
