A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONTRACT WITH ALL SOUTH
FLORIDA CONSTRUCTION, INC., FOR THE REFURBISHING OF THE
MEDICAL SUPPLY AND EQUIPMENT STORAGE FACILITY LOCATED
BEHIND FIRE STATION NUMBER 1 IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$29,980.00; PROVIDING FOR FUNDING; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
FURTHER, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Dania Beach, Part III, Article 3, Section 4,
Subsection 0), authorizes the City Manager to purchase supplies, services, equipment and
materials for the City government in amounts in excess of $25,000.00 without competitive
bidding and without advertisement for bids if he is authorized to do so in advance by a resolution
adopted by the City Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has determined that it is necessary to refurbish the medical
supply and equipment storage facility located behind Fire Station Number 1; and
WHEREAS, three written quotes were obtained from the following vendors: Bradanna,
Inc. in the amount of $38,162.00; Flacks Painting and Waterproofing Inc. in the amount of
$33,450.00; and All South Florida Construction, Inc. in the amount of$29,980.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has determined that such service can be made at the least
cost to the City by contracting for these services with All South Florida Construction, Inc., in the
amount of$29,980.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to pay the amount of$29,980.00 to
All South Florida Construction, Inc., for refurbishing the medical supply and equipment storage
facility located behind Fire Station Number 1.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance is authorized to appropriate the $29,980.00
from the Fire Reserve Fund to fund this project.
Section 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution
are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 4. That this Resolution shall be in force and take effect immediately upon its
passage and adoption.

DESCRIPTION TOTAL
The following Estimate is based on the Scope of Work as listed below. This estimate does
not include the cost of plans,processing or permit fees.
Demolition of all drywall and interior walls.
New Central A/C with closet.
Strap existing trusses to Tie Beams per code.
Block up holes where existing A/C units are being removed.
Supply and install a new exterior metal exterior door with lockset and two interior doors
with locksets.
Form and pour a 5'x 10'walkway and A/C pad to code.
Build interior laundry room walls.
Build a new interior wall running North and South.
Insulate all new walls and ceiling per code.
Supply and install new drywall with Knockdown finish.
Stucco exterior walls as required.
Add 2X4 PT to gable ends as required.
Supply and install ten(10)new eight(8)foot florescent electrical fixtures.
Supply and install three (3)new switches.
Provide new A/C hookup to existing electrical service.
Supply and install new linoleum flooring.

Disconnect old bathroom fixtures and convert area into a storage area.
Supply labor and materials to prime and paint the interior and exterior of the entire building.
The total cost of labor and materials for the Scope of Work as listed above is $29,980.00 29,980.00
This Scope of Work has been approved and by signing of this Estimate the parties listed are
entering into a contract to have the work completed. Payment in full is due at the completion
of the work and Final Inspection by the City of Dania Beach Building Department.
