HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-2010-038 CDM Amendment #1 Work Order #16 RESOLUTION NO. 2010-038 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING A WORK ORDER AMENDMENT FOR $45,860.00 FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY THE FIRM OF CAMP DRESSER AND MCKEE FOR THE PUBLIC SERVICES ADMINISTRATION BUILDING PROJECT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE WORK ORDER; PROVIDING ASSURANCES; PROVIDING FOR FUNDING; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; FURTHER, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission previously approved a capital improvement program that included monies for a new Public Services Administration Building; and WHEREAS, the City requested a work order from Camp, Dresser and McKee for engineering services associated with construction of the new Public Services Administration Building; and WHEREAS, the work order follows a prior work order for nanofiltration, a ground storage tank, project coordination, the Southwest Community Center and water main upgrade work on the same site; and WHEREAS, the City previously adopted Resolution #2008-212 authorizing Work Order #16 from Camp, Dresser and McKee for services associated with the construction of the Public Services Administration Building; and WHEREAS, there is a need for an amendment to this work order which shall be Amendment#1; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the foregoing findings are incorporated by reference and made a part of this Resolution. Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized to execute the work order to obtain the engineering services in the amount of$45,860.00, to be paid from the Capital Projects Fund Project PWFAC, through additional funding transfers from General Fund Account #001-4101- 541-46-60 for $20,637.00, Water Fund Account #401-3301-533-31-30 for $13,758.00, Sewer Fund Account # 402-3501-535-31-30 for $6,879.00 and Stormwater Fund Account # 403-3801- 538-31-30 for$4,586.00. Section 3. That the City Manager is authorized to delegate responsibility to appropriate City staff to carry out technical, financial, and administrative activities associated with the work order. Section 4. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions of this Resolution are repealed. Section 5. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED on March 9, 2010.
