A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA
BEACH, FLORIDA, DECLARING THREE (3) TWENTY FIVE (25) YEAR
OLD LIFEGUARD TOWERS TO BE OBSOLETE, SURPLUS AND OF NO
FURTHER USE TO THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH AND DECLARING THE
INTENT OF THE CITY TO DISPOSE OF THE SAME AT THE DISCRETION
OF THE CITY MANAGER; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; FURTHER,
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Commission has determined that three (3) twenty five (25)
year old lifeguard towers located at the municipal beach are no longer fit for service, and it is
declared that they are obsolete, surplus and of no further use to the City of Dania Beach.
Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized by the City Commission to dispose of
such property in any manner or method which he determines will generate the most revenue to
the City.
Section 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution
are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and take effect immediately upon
its passage and adoption.
