A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA
BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING ANNUAL RESIDENT AND NON-
RESIDENT MEMBERSHIP FEES FOR ENTRY INTO PRECIOUS PAWS
DOG PARK LOCATED AT PATRICK J. MELI PARK; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; FURTHER,PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Dania Beach, Florida has determined
that it is appropriate to levy fees for admission to and for the use of the Precious Paws Dog Park
at Patrick J. Meli Park;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That fees for the use of the Precious Paws Dog Park at Patrick J. Meli Park
are established as follows:
Resident Rate $25.00 annual pass
Non-Resident Rate $50.00 annual pass
Daily Rate $5.00 per day
Section 2. That City Recreation staff shall obtain and maintain annual membership
documentation, issue annual membership cards, collect fees, summarize and deliver fee
collections to the Finance Department and monitor dog park users to encourage compliance with
all fee requirements.
Section 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution
are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 4. That this Resolution shall be in force and take effect immediately upon its
passage and adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on May 24, 2011.
