RESOLUTION NO. 2011-063 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA, DECLARING CERTAIN VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT TO BE OBSOLETE, SURPLUS, AND OF NO FURTHER USE TO THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH; DECLARING THE INTENT OF THE CITY TO DISPOSE OF SAME AT THE DIRECTION OF THE CITY MANAGER; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; FURTHER, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS,the City of Dania Beach has purchased various vehicles and equipment over the years; and WHEREAS, the City Administration has recommended disposal of various vehicles and equipment due to the acquisition of new vehicles and equipment; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the City Commission approves the recommendation of City Administration for the surplus and disposal of the following vehicles and equipment: 1998 Ford Ranger, Vehicle Identification Number 1FTYR14U3WPB12433, 2000 Ford Taurus, Vehicle Identification Number 1FAFP5222YA178389, 1999 Ford Crown Victoria, Vehicle Identification Number 2FAFP71 W2XX168001, 1999 Ford Crown Victoria, Vehicle Identification Number 2FAFP71 WOXX168000, 1994 Ford Ranger, Vehicle Identification Number 1FTCRIOX7RUE78279, 1997 Jeep Cherokee, Vehicle Identification Number 1J4FT68S8VL556390, 1994 Ford Ranger, Vehicle Identification Number I FTCR I OA6RUE75 3 05, 1998 Ford Ranger, Vehicle Identification Number 1FTYR14U8WPB12430, 2000 Ford E350 Passenger Van, Vehicle Identification Number I FBSS3 I L4YHB801 00, 1997 Ford Ranger, Vehicle Identification Number 1 FTCRI4U6VPB37903, and 1 Onan 30 EK Generator with automatic transfer switch, which are no longer required for service, and they are hereby declared to be surplus and of no further use to the City of Dania Beach. Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to remove these vehicles from use and service by the City, and to dispose of them in any manner or method which he determines will generate the most revenue to the City. Section 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution are repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 4.
